MARKETING CONSULTING

for Impact-Driven Organizations

Marketing Built for Your Mission

Small mission-driven organizations have navigated significant disruption in recent years. Whether it's changing funding landscapes, unexpected policy shifts, increased demand for services, or economic uncertainty, the complexity of sustaining work has multiplied. And the work hasn't stopped.

At the same time, the demand for visibility has never been higher. Marketing grounded in authentic storytelling and clear strategy is essential for building trust and creating the conditions for sustained support. However, many organizations lack the dedicated capacity to keep up. Approaches that worked in the past no longer reach audiences in today's crowded digital landscape.

As a result, marketing often feels reactive or overwhelming. Important work risks being overlooked not because it lacks value, but because the infrastructure to support consistent visibility simply isn't there. I work with leaders to step back and build practical strategies and systems that align with their priorities.

My Background & Approach

I am a writer, founder, and certified marketing strategist with over six years of experience developing strategic campaigns and building narrative-driven marketing.

I work with leaders to develop marketing plans grounded in their authentic stories, scaled to their stage and resources. I pay attention to how marketing fits into the broader system of their work. This perspective comes from both my marketing background and my experience building an organization. As the publisher of an independent press, I built trust and impact with limited budget and bandwidth.

As a leader, I understand how marketing choices ripple across an organization at different stages of growth. This lived experience informs my consulting, specifically in how to align messaging with core values and support what teams can realistically sustain.

Services & Pricing

I offer flexible pricing options to make my work accessible to leaders and organizations at different stages and with varying resources.

Getting Started

Designed to create immediate clarity and ensure your resources are channeled into the strategies that move the needle most.

  • Best for: Leaders who want to talk through one specific marketing challenge and use the session as a sounding board to determine whether marketing consulting is the right fit and what to prioritize next.

What you get: A 45 minute call to clarify your goals and receive guidance on the most useful next steps.

    Investment: $69

  • Best for: Emerging leaders and founders seeking support defining clear marketing goals tied to specific business needs.

What you get: This includes one 60-minute working session and a concise written marketing brief for one initiative. The brief outlines clear goals, messaging direction, recommended strategies and tactics, priority channels, and tailored resources with next-step guidance. All recommendations are designed so you can implement them independently or build on them together at the next level.

    Investment:

    • $225 for emerging leaders and early-stage organizations launching their first initiative

    • $350 for established organizations with active marketing efforts

Pricing reflects organizational stage and the level of strategic synthesis involved.

Deeper Systems & Support

Focus on building repeatable marketing systems and providing ongoing decision support.

  • Best for: Organizations and leaders who have specific business goals they need marketing to support, such as launching a program or offering, strengthening visibility, stabilizing growth, or creating consistent communication systems to support ongoing work.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • I take an inside-out approach, grounding marketing in strong infrastructure and clear strategic goals. I partner closely with leaders and teams to clarify goals, define priorities, and build marketing approaches that fit their stage, capacity, available resources, and long-term direction. This approach helps ensure marketing is integrated and sustainable, rather than treated as a separate function.

  • A short conversation is a great first step to talk through a specific question or clarify if consulting is the right fit. For those who need a clear roadmap without a significant investment, I offer a foundational Quick Consult session that provides a concise written brief and messaging direction to help you focus your limited resources.

For more context on how I structure pricing to reflect different budget levels and organizational capacity, please see the “Why do you offer tiered pricing for your services?” question below.

  • I am committed to making my marketing services accessible to leaders and organizations at different stages and with varying resources. My tiered pricing reflects two things: organizational capacity and strategic complexity.

    • For Emerging Leaders and Early-Stage Organizations: Pricing reflects the scope of work for a solo founder or early-stage organization, where the focus is narrower and the strategic synthesis is more contained.

    • For Established Organizations: Pricing reflects the additional complexity required to coordinate larger teams, manage existing digital ecosystems, and align multifaceted goals.

This ensures my pricing is fair and proportional to the work involved, whether I'm working with a solo founder or a mid-sized organization.

  • Yes. I support the launch of specific initiatives such as programs, services, campaigns, or offerings. We work together to translate your goal into a clear, actionable marketing plan, with optional implementation or training support to help you or your team carry it forward.

Please note that this practice does not support author branding or marketing for fiction titles.

In some cases, I may support marketing for nonfiction books when they are closely connected to an organization, program, or thought leadership work.

  • I work as a strategist and system builder rather than a full-service production agency. While I provide guidance on content development and implementation, I do not offer full copywriting or technical builds. I frequently collaborate with existing vendors or help identify and coordinate with the right creative partners as needed.

  • Shared clarity is an important foundation for this work, so I begin deeper engagements and ongoing support with an initial alignment phase. This helps ensure that any marketing strategies and systems we build are grounded in a clear understanding of your goals and priorities.
